We are please to announce that we ended the 2010 show season with a
great bang with the following results:
Garden Vale Heart of Diamonds
Winner of High Point Buckskins NSW Buckskin Mare of the year
Winner of High Point Buckskins NSW Country Horse of the Year
Garden Vale Classic Image has been sold to Alison Read and Jean Read of
Hughenden Queensland. We wish them well with Peggy Sue and are sure that they will be in the winners circle with
this elegant filly.
The latest addition to the show team. We have a lovely grey welsh pony
mare standing at 11.3hh for our lead line rider Ashley Hannaford to begin his showing career with. Ashley is
nearly 3 and is doing wonderfully riding his pony on his own already at such a young age. We are very excited at
our latest addition and cannot wait to get the tiny tot out there. He looks very smart in his riding gear! And
the little pony Nakita is such a wonderful pony with her little handler

Garden Vale Stud is proud to announce that one of Diamond Fuelled progeny - SHABROUSHKA, bred by Del raced at Ipswich races march 30in the 2 year old Maiden handicap, 1000 metres. Whilst he missed the start out of the barriers, and was running last at 200 metres to go, he finished an impressive 4th in a field of 9, a terrific result for his first race. The jockey, S. Scrivens was so impressed with the run and advised the owners that he believes the horse will win his next start as he had such a good run and covered the ground well. 20/1/10 Garden Vale Heart of Diamonds has won Runner Up High Point Buckskin mare and Runner up High Point Country horse at the NSW Buckskin Association awards held in December 2009. This is a terrific result for this mare.
The horses are back into work after their break. Unfortunately Heart of Diamonds is out of action for the moment having suffered a foot Abscess that has taken the toll on her and left her lame. Garden Vale Stylish Poetry is shaping into a lovely horse. He will be gelded in February. We expect him to mature at approx 14.2-14.3hh. Pictures to come soon.
Garden Vale Stud” are proud to announce the arrival of a “Set of Twins” sired by their resident thoroughbred stallion Diamond Fuelled. Cathy and Craig Willis of Gympie had a huge surprise when their thoroughbred mare “Nabir Girl” foaled last Wednesday 21 October. She gave birth to two thoroughbred colts – oops missed by the Vet at scanning. To date both foals are doing extremely well. We congratulate them on this special arrival and wish them all the best with these 2 rare babies- appropriately named, Flash and Lucky.

“Smithfields Stylish Memories” owned by Garden Vale Stud is a proud mum. She has produced a lovely Buckskin colt for the stud. The colt is by Antrim Limerick, and he will have 4 registrations This is terrific news for the stud as we were wanting to breed Buckskin Riding Ponies and it appears we have achieved our goal!! “Garden Vale Stylish Poetry” was born on the 12 October. He has a wonderful nature and we are certain that he will take the show ring by storm in years to come.
